ReboundNg, a popular basketball news website started by Nigerian Afiemo Obaro, has new ownership. In February, the site was bought by Hero Gatanazi an emerging sports journo and business man based in Rwanda with strong connections to the NBA. Gatanazi who is now the new Editor-in-Chief, brings his deep knowledge of basketball to the site and aims to make it even better.
With Gatanazi in charge, ReboundNg.com is already seeing some exciting changes. He has also added two new columnists to the team: Deji Thomas from Brooklyn, New York, and Chizaram Udeh based in Brazil. These new writers will bring fresh perspectives to the site.
Even though Afiemo has sold the site, he will still be part of the team, as he will continue to write articles, keeping his voice and passion alive on the site. However, his role will be smaller allowing him to focus more on writing and less on running the website.
