GOVERNOR HOPE UZODINMA AWARDS 14-YEAR-OLD ERNEST PRINCE WITH AMERICAN BASKETBALL SCHOLARSHIP

In an inspiring move aimed at boosting youth development in sports, the Governor of Imo State, His Excellency Senator Hope Uzodinma has awarded a prestigious American basketball scholarship to 14-year-old basketball prodigy, Ernest Prince

The selection and award were facilitated through the office of the Special Adviser on Diaspora Sports, Hon. Kingsley Ogwudire and Dynamyc Sports Group. This US-based sports company played a pivotal role in securing the scholarship grant. 


As part of the scholarship, Prince will also receive a monthly stipend of $150 until he departs for the United States to begin his basketball training and academic journey.

This monumental opportunity for young Ernest Prince reflects Governor Uzodinma’s unwavering commitment to empowering youth in Imo State through sports and other capacity-building initiatives.

Since assuming office, the governor has continuously demonstrated his dedication to creating platforms where young talents can flourish both locally and internationally.
